Ultimate OCR 3K Championship
Ultimate OCR 3K Championship
This event is a USA OCR Team Qualifier qualifying event!
Updated Rules:
For the 3 band system, each athlete will be given 3 bands to wear throughout the race.
All obstacles are either a mandatory completion (ex: walls, crawls, carries, etc) or single attempt (ex: rigs and technical obstacles).
Mandatory Completion Obstacles:
Athletes may take multiple attempts to successfully complete these obstacles. However, if an athlete is unable to complete a mandatory obstacle, they will forfeit any remaining bands. They are still welcome to finish the course, but will no longer be eligible for awards.
Single Attempt Obstacles:
Athletes are allowed
one attempt only. Failure to complete Single Attempt Obstacle results in the loss of
one band, and the athlete continues the race. No retries are allowed.
Finish Line Rules:
- Athletes who finish with all 3 bands may cross the finish line immediately.
- Athletes who finish with 1 or 2 bands must complete one penalty loop per band lost before crossing the finish line.
- Athletes who have lost all 3 bands at any point during the race are considered non-complete and are ineligible for awards.
The penalty loop is placed
after the final obstacle and before the finish line to ensure consistency and fairness for all competitors.
